"The linking of good hearts is called Satsangh in Sanksrit. Those who are united in such good company will never speak of their own greatness. They will only celebrate the glory of Truth."
- Her Holiness Pujyashri Mathioli Saraswathy

Nandalala NJ Yuva Satsang
Nandalala NJ youth meet weekly to learn together and have fun! In every satsang, we learn about the Puranas, the beloved temples, Deities, and history of Sanatana Dharma, and we strengthen our understanding of our culture and traditions.

If you would like to join our youth satsang (or you would like your young one to join), kindly contact us at nandalala.nj@gmail.com, and a volunteer will reach out to you. The satsang is open to youth ages 12-21.

We're a family of youth from across the US and India! Our satsangs began in December 2024, and with Ambal's grace, our family continues to grow!

Student reflections from past satsangs:

(during a discussion based on the quote above):
"I personally feel Freedom is attained once we get rid of all the Karmas. Getting rid of them is equivalent to doing our duties. We just can’t pass or sell them to someone like we sell things on OLX or any other website. These are the words said by Amma herself in that session. As Ambal says, “Theethidu Ma”, which means getting rid of our Karmas is as equivalent to attaining freedom. We should try to empty our bags which was sent to us, and not carry any more load, that’ll earn us the Freedom to reach the Lords feet. This is what I got reminded of as soon as I saw the quote. Thanks all. Mathioli Charanam."

(during a discussion based on the Vedic History episode above):
"From the session, we know that Sundarar was literally there with Lord Shiva in Kailayam, doing seva to the Lord Himself. Even when he took the human form, he started believing what Maya is, and he started believing in things around him, and he got engulfed in Maya. And he needed the Lord to come and tell him what the Truth is - which is to do seva for the Lord Himself. So whoever we were in our previous birth, as humans we tend to forget, and we're not going to remember those past experiences, right? So we need to constantly keep thinking of the Lord, since that is the ultimate goal in life. Everything else is just Maya."
