She teaches us how to serve Ambal from a place of love and bhakthi, making sure that whatever we work on, we take it as an opportunity to grow closer to Ambal and to learn whatever valuable lessons Ambal is teaching us through the moment. Madhuri Amma emphasizes the importance of unity and respect, instilling in us the fact that, at Nandalala NJ, we are all family.

My mother was a devoted follower of Ambal. She deeply felt Ambal’s presence in Madhuri Amma, and brought me to her. She instructed me to “hold on to Her tightly and never let go.” That message stayed with me. Over the years, Madhuri Amma—both as a guru and as a living embodiment of the Divine—has been a profound source of inspiration. Her guidance, teachings, compassion, and love have been a steady pillar of support in my life, helping me stay grounded, connected, and open up to a higher purpose.
I currently work as a solutions architect in the banking industry. Alongside my professional career, I am also a Carnatic violinist and teacher. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing solo concerts, as well as accompanying renowned Carnatic musicians in India and the US.

I met Madhuri Amma in November 2022, and, on seeing Amma's radiance and Her compassionate smile, I remember thinking "Wow I like Her. I want to know Her better." What started as a series of phone calls has become my most precious relationship, a relationship with the Divine! I feel so fortunate that I have the opportunity to learn life's most important lessons from my beloved Gurus Ambal and Madhuri Amma - lessons on unwavering faith, kindness, respect, self-confidence, and true leadership. In serving Nandalala NJ, I have also been gifted such a beautiful extended family!

With Ambal's grace, I earned my PhD in South Asian Studies from Harvard University in 2023. I now work in Graduate Education at Northeastern University.
